Please provide an email address so we can send you important information throughout the season.
We need a copy of every player's health card - check your registration form to see if we already have it on file - if not, please attach a copy.
This year, registration fees may be eligible for a tax credit. Keep your registration receipt!
Goalie gear is available on loan to goalies in Peewee and below.
According to CBCMHA by-laws the number of rep teams in each division is calculated based on the number of players registered and how many want to try out for rep. So register on time and indicate if you are trying out for rep under "Other"! We can't count late registrations and no indication of rep try-out means you are not counted for rep! (And maybe no phone call!) Mail it in today and take advantage of our payment plan and to avoid missing try-outs!
Indicate on your registration form (under "Other") how you are willing to help out in the association. The CBCMHA is a volunteer organization. Our organization only works when people come forward to contribute their time, effort and expertise. For many years now we have relied too heavily on a few people to make hockey a safe and fun growth experience for our children. Everybody that registers a child in the CBCMHA should expect to help out in some way too. Pick something that might suit your schedule, your interests and your talents.
Register for the Breakfast Club (under "Other") too!
Player Selection Process
We made some significant improvements in our player selection process in the past few years. Players trying-out for rep teams in Atom, Peewee and Bantam will start sessions in early September. Midget will start soon after. There is an additional $40 evaluation fee for players trying out for rep to reflect extended ice times. Metro players will start in late September.
No player is permitted on the ice until registered with the office!
As before, your child will receive a phone call before their first ice session. A great way to kick off our season!
Female Hockey
Female Hockey is growing by leaps and bounds at the County! This season we expect to have a female team in Atom, Peewee, Bantam and Midget! The Peewee, Bantam and Midget teams play rep hockey against other top quality female teams across northern Nova Scotia.
We're excited about hosting an atom female team for the first time in many years last season! We'll make sure the organization of the team fits the needs of the players involved, but you can expect good hockey and a lot of fun!
If you have any questions call Pam Reid at the office, 562-1767, our Female Co-ordinator, Denis Lanoë, 270-5670, or the Regional Director, Donna Arseneau, 564-0779. Sign up and catch the wave of the fastest growing sport in Canada!
